1. About MarketQuants

MarketQuants ("we", "us", "our", or "the Platform") operates the website marketquants.in and provides a technology-driven analytics service that aggregates market data — including open interest, VWAP, and volume pace — and presents confidence-scored intraday alerts for informational purposes. The Platform is operated from India and is governed by Indian law.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide the service:

• ▸Email address — used for account authentication and service communications.
• ▸Mobile number — used for account verification and login.
• ▸Usage data — anonymised page views, session duration, and feature interactions collected via Google Analytics (GA4). This data does not identify you individually.
• ▸Technical data — IP address, browser type, and device type collected automatically when you access the Platform. Used for security, abuse prevention, and service improvement.

We do not collect PAN numbers, Aadhaar details, bank account information, demat account numbers, trading credentials, or any financial account data.

3. How We Use Your Information

• ▸To authenticate your account and provide access to the dashboard.
• ▸To send service-related communications (e.g. membership updates, platform notices).
• ▸To monitor platform health, diagnose errors, and improve system reliability.
• ▸To comply with applicable Indian laws and regulations.

4. Third-Party Services

The Platform uses the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

• ▸Google Analytics (GA4) — anonymised usage analytics. Data is processed by Google LLC under their privacy policy. You may opt out via browser extensions or Google's opt-out tools.
• ▸Vercel — website hosting and content delivery. Vercel may process technical data (IP, headers) in the course of serving pages.
• ▸Superprofile — subscription and payment processing for memberships. Payment information is handled entirely by Superprofile; we do not receive or store card or UPI details.
• ▸Upstox API — real-time NSE/BSE market data feed used to generate platform analytics. No user personal data is shared with Upstox.

5. Data Retention

Account data (email, mobile number) is retained for the duration of your active membership and for a reasonable period thereafter for legal and audit purposes. Anonymised analytics data is subject to Google's retention settings (default 14 months). You may request deletion of your account data at any time by contacting us at info@marketquants.in.

6. Cookies

The Platform uses a minimal session token stored in browser local storage for authentication. Google Analytics uses cookies to track anonymised usage patterns. No advertising or tracking cookies are set by MarketQuants directly. You may disable cookies in your browser settings; however, this may affect login functionality.

7. Platform Availability and System Reliability

MarketQuants is a technology platform that depends on multiple layers of infrastructure — live market data feeds, cloud servers, third-party APIs, and internet connectivity. By their nature, technology systems are subject to failure, maintenance, and degradation.

We make reasonable efforts to maintain high availability during Indian market hours (9:15 AM to 3:30 PM IST, Monday to Friday, excluding NSE holidays). However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The Platform may experience:

• ▸Brief interruptions due to routine maintenance, software deployments, or automatic restarts.
• ▸Temporary data feed delays or gaps caused by upstream market data provider outages.
• ▸Extended downtime in rare cases due to infrastructure failures, force majeure events, regulatory actions, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
• ▸Delayed, missed, or incomplete signal data during any period of downtime.

MarketQuants shall not be liable for any loss, missed opportunity, trading loss, or consequential damage arising from Platform downtime, data delays, or system malfunction, whether temporary or extended. Users are expected to maintain independent market monitoring and not rely solely on this Platform for trading decisions.

8. Not Investment Advice — Expanded

All signals, scores, indicators, market breadth data, mood scores, and any other output generated by the Platform are mathematical outputs of a deterministic algorithm applied to publicly available market data. They do not constitute:

• ▸Investment advice or financial planning under SEBI (Investment Advisers) Regulations, 2013.
• ▸Research reports or recommendations under SEBI (Research Analysts) Regulations, 2014.
• ▸Tips, calls, or buy/sell recommendations of any nature.
• ▸Guarantees of profit or protection from loss.

Trading in equity, futures, and options involves substantial risk of loss. F&O instruments are leveraged products and can result in losses exceeding your initial capital. Users must satisfy themselves as to the suitability of any trading strategy based on their own financial circumstances, risk appetite, and objectives.

9. Security

We employ industry-standard measures to protect your data, including HTTPS encryption in transit, hashed credential storage, and access-controlled server infrastructure. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required under applicable Indian law.
